The historic 70 years old Finnish ship M/S Katarina was sold earlier this month in Kotka, Finland.
She was auctioned for hammer price of just over 500.000,- Euro.
She was originally built to Ice A1 Class and served as both passenger ship in Finnish archipelago during winter months and also as marine research vessel and travelled once up to Svalbard.
Up to the auction she was sailing under Finnish Maritime Institute as training vessel.
